GOOD NEWS: He Broke Two Swimming World Records At 99

George Corones will be 100 next month, but the 99-year-old Australian swimmer isn’t slowing down just yet. He just broke not one, but two world records for his age group.

Actually, the event was held just so Corones could challenge the records. He beat the 50 meter record by 35 seconds and the 100 meter freestyle record by a minute. And this guy just started swimming when he was 80, to get some exercise!

"It was an exemplary swim for me, well balanced,” Corones says. "And I was ready to hit the [wall] at the end very hard with my hand."
