After learning that a dog was about to be euthanized, Nicholas R. offered to foster her. Emma the dog was on death row at an animal shelter when he took her home, having no idea she was pregnant.
Nicholas was never told that Emma was expecting, but when he figured out she was going to give birth any day, he used his experience birthing farm animals to deliver her puppies. Emma had six puppies, two girls and four boys, they’re all doing well and Nicholas says he loves caring for Emma and her babies.
