A Connecticut women who recently won a lottery jackpot worth $400,000 credits a date night dessert craving for her big win. Lisa Nagy of Easton says Tuesday is the night she and her hubby usually go to dinner and after a recent date, the couple stopped fof for ice cream on their way home.
Nagy asked her husband to pick up a Win for Life ticket at the store and when she scratched it off, she was shocked to see she was a winner. She even went back to the retailer to use the ticket checker to confirm it was a winner.
She recently collected her winnings and opted to take the $400,000 lump sum payment. “I feel very blessed,” Nagy says, If I can do something good with the prize, I hope to.”
