Folks in New York City who need to look their best for a job interview, graduation, or some other important event but don’t have the right accessories for the occasion can now head to their library to check them out. At the Riverside Library on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, library card holders can borrow something from the Grow Up work accessories collection, which includes ties, briefcases, and handbags.
The small collection currently features 17 different ties and 12 briefcases and handbags, according to to the library catalog. People can check out what they need for three-week periods, just like books. And the library also has information on interview tips and resources for professional fashion advice for those who borrow a tie or bag.
