Troy Gentry fans will have a chance to celebrate the singer’s life at a public service scheduled for later this week. As we previously told you, the singer tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on Friday and now details about his funeral have been released.
A public celebration of the singer’s life will take place at the Grande Ole Opry House in Nashville on Thursday at 11 am, with a private family internment taking place afterwards. For fans who can’t get to Nashville to take part in the celebration it will be livestreamed on the Grande Ole Opry’s website.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either The American Red Cross for hurricane relief, or the T.J. Martell Foundation.
