Everyone meet Willa Gray Akins! I can't believe our daughter is finally home🙌🏼 We have been in this adoption process for what seems like forever and are just so filled with joy that we are all finally home together! Thank you to everyone who prayed every single day for this sweet girl. The Lord blessed us with the most amazing little girl we could have ever dreamed of and we can't wait to watch her grow up! #daddyforreal @laur_akins
Thomas Rhett and family are adjusting to life with a toddler, but their toddler is experiencing a whole other adjustment.
The country star and wife Lauren Akins adopted daughter Willa Gray from an orphanage in Uganda, and after her first few days at her new home in Nashville, Tennessee, the little one is “constantly” seeing “something new,” TR says.

“Willa has never seen dogs before and we have two big ones,” he adds. “They are so sweet, but it’s been hilarious watching her try to pet them.”
Babe.... I love you so much and happy 1st Mother's Day. You already are a rock star at being a mom. You + me+ Willa pic.twitter.com/RKbKbnhmCp— Thomas Rhett (@ThomasRhett) May 14, 2017
Willa is also getting used to a car set, in which Thomas says the little one had never before sat.
“She’s like, ‘Why are these straps over my shoulders?’” the “Craving You” singer says of Willa’s first time in a car seat. “‘Why am I being locked into this weird contraption?’”
