An 83-year-old woman is alive today thanks to the heroic actions of some of her neighbors in Deerfield Beach, Florida. They came to her rescue after she fell into the community’s lake and pulled her to safety.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael B. Kane reports that neighbors found the woman facedown in the water and called 911 for help. First responders found her in good condition, just cold and she was taken to the hospital for a complete evaluation. Thank goodness her neighbors saw her in there and got help quickly.
