'Bachelor' Contestant Victoria Fuller Dated Chase Rice Before His Episode

Just when you thought The Bachelor couldn't be any more dramatic, the producers throw in a new twist.

In a preview for next week's episode, Bachelor, Peter Weber, takes contestant Victoria Fuller on a one-on-one date where they were joined by country singer Chase Rice. Having a musical guest isn't anything out of the norm for the show, however having the singer be the contestant's ex is.

In the preview for next week's episode, Fuller is visibly uncomfortable as Rice sand to the couple on their date. Supposedly, Rice was surprised by the situation as well revealing that he had no idea he'd be involved in anything more than singing.

"I don't know exactly what happened or why it happened," he said in a previous interview. "I wish it wouldn't have happened, but I understand it from their side of it. They've got to make TV and that's the reason I don't like reality TV. It's pretty surprising that they brought me into that and I don't think it's a coincidence, but it's either the reality TV gods, just some crazy coincidence or some producer did a really good job. Either way, I think it's pretty weird they pulled me into that."

"That's a little jacked up they're going to do that to me," he added. "It was a pretty big surprise that wasn't what I wanted."

Rice initially decided to go on the show to promote his music, including his current single "Lonely If You Are" and his latest No. 1 hit, "Eyes On You."

"At the end of the day, if it brings it back to the music and if it brings people to my music, that's what I want people to take away from it," he said. "If the music's good, it'll always go back to that."

Tune in to watch the country singer on The Bachelor on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
