TMSG: Woman Gets Into Law School After Being Rejected Multiple Times

A video of woman learning she passed the Illinois bar exam went viral on Facebook. Arielle Williams, who grew up in Englewood, told CBS the only thing she ever wanted to be was a lawyer and apparently her hard work paid off.

Williams is the first on her mom’s side to graduate from college. She earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree while working two jobs and taking on student loans. Then she applied to eight law schools and got rejected. However, that did not stop her. She retook the LSAT and was accepted to every law school that received her applications.

Williams eventually graduated with a law degree from DePaul University. The best part was seeing her career dreams come true. In the viral clip, the new lawyer was sitting at her work desk reading her acceptance letter when she fell to her knees with tears of joy. Now Williams and her family are planning a celebration in November where she will attend the Bar Admission Ceremony.
