TMSG: Uber Driver Buys Baby Clothes For Rider's Child In NICU

Kansas mother Nikki Ihus has been spending most of her time in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for her son John Henry. He was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), a condition that can cause life-threatening breathing difficulties. The two are away from home as Henry is being treated at John Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Florida.

Being away from home has made things more difficult on Ihus and her son. Ihus decided to take an Uber from the NICU to a consignment store to buy some clothes for her son. When she got into the Uber, all of her emotions came out and she spilled the story to her Uber driver.

When the trip was over, they arrived at the store, but Uber driver Belinda didn't leave. Instead she got out of the car and said she wanted to go with Ihus. Belinda ended up buying 30 new outfits for John Henry because the story touched her heart.

Belinda even visited Ihus and John Henry in the hospital. Ihus shared some of the photos of John Henry's new clothes and the story and it went viral.
