Bad news for those of you who submitted a claim to receive $125 as part of the Equifax Settlement because the FTC says it's likely that no one is getting it. Apparently way more people filed claims than anticipated with millions visiting the claim site in a week.
"Each person who takes the money option is going to get a very small amount" according to the FTC. "Nowhere near the $125 they could have gotten if there hadn't been such an enormous number of claims filed.
I'm really regretting sharing the story now to tell friends and family about it. Dang it!
