A photo of an act of kindness on the first day of school is going viral for all the right reasons. When Connor, a student at Minneha Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas was upset and crying outside before school started,Christian, a classmate he didn’t know, came over and took his hand and walked him inside the school.
The eight-year-old little boys didn’t talk or explain what was going on or how they were feeling, one just saw a need and helped the other out. What Christian didn’t know at the time was that Connor is autistic and he was overwhelmed by everything going on, but he was nice to a fellow student and it made all the difference.
"He was kind to me,” explains Connor Crites. “I was in the first day of school and I started crying then he helped me and I was happy.”
