A loyal dog is being called a hero for protecting his young owner when he got lost in Florida.Buddythe pit bull helped police find the missing three-year-old boy who had wandered away from home and into the woods.
According to theSuwannee County Sheriff’s Office, Buddy stood guard and stayed with the child as officers and a K9 unit searched for him.Bodycam footageshows Buddy leading deputies to the missing boy when they arrived. The boy is fine and has been reunited with his family, thanks to his pet.
“It was such a good ending to something that could have been tragic,” says SheriffSamSt. John“We’re all the time putting out tragic news. I’m telling you, it feels so good, so good to tell a good story.”
