6 year old raises $ for wildlife in Australia

A six-year-old boy in Massachusetts is getting creative to help animals affected by the wildfires in Australia.Owen Colleywas very upset to learn so many animals had been hurt in the fires, so he started making little gray koalas out of clay and he’s giving one to every person who donates $50 that will go to Wildlife Rescue South Coast, a wildlife rescue group.

His parents set up aGoFundMecampaign that has blown past it’s $5,000 goal. In just over a week, it’s raised over $240,000 and it’s still going. Now Owen is going to be busy making lots of little koalas to send his generous donors.
