GOOD NEWS: “Sandwich Man” Brings Food And More To Homeless

Retired teacher Allan Law believes he was put on this Earth to help the homeless. He spends 365 nights a year on the streets in Minnesota delivering sandwiches, coats, and bus tokens and the people he helps call him the “Sandwich Man.”

Law’s charity, Love One Another” has been helping folks in the Twin Cities for 50 years. He’s got 20 freezers in his apartment and four storage units packed full of snacks, blankets, and toys for the kids he meets.

Now with the help of one of Love One Another’s volunteers, Teri Bennett, the charity started a GoFundMe with hopes of raising enough to get a warehouse to store everything and meet with people. So far they’ve raised about half of their $50,000 goal.
