GOOD NEWS: Waffle House Staff Wowed by $3,500 Christmas Tip

It’s never fun to work on a holiday, but employees who were hustling through their Christmas Eve shift at the Waffle House in Celina, Ohio were treated to a tip so big, it made their holiday. At the Christmas Eve service at Grand Lake United Methodist Church, Reverend Mick Whistler preached about generosity and then his congregants went out and showed what that means.

Church members were told to set aside a little cash in the weeks leading up to the holiday and to bring five $1 bills on Christmas Eve. After church, they all headed to the Waffle House and tipped those working more than $3,500! After they split the cash they each ended up with $700, which kind of makes up for the fact they had to work on Christmas Eve!
