GOOD NEWS: Texas Teen Saves Man At Movies With CPR

Corey Brennan thought he was in for another slow, quiet night at the Regal Cinemas 19 in Tomball, Texas, where he works. But the 18-year-old was wrong about that. As he worked the box office window, he heard a coworker yell to call 911 because someone wasn’t responding.

A customer had stopped breathing while sitting with his family in the theater’s restaurant area, so Brennan ran out to help. The teen knows CPR, so someone called for an ambulance and he started CPR. He did chest compressions and eventually, the man started to breath. EMS crews arrived and rushed him to the hospital.

Brennan is thankful he was there to help and is even considering making it a career. "I'm looking into going into EMT/Firefighting after I get out of high school,” he explains. “I'm a junior firefighter with Tomball fire department, and I'm also an athletic trainer for Tomball High School, as well.”
