GOOD NEWS: Man Walks Again Thanks To Generous Good Samaritan

Corey Zielenski has been in a wheelchair since he fell out of a tree stand eight years ago and woke up paralyzed from the waist down. But the Michigan man is getting a new chance to walk again, thanks to a generous stranger and some amazing technology.

Zielenski found help in a pair of bionic legs from a company called ReWalk, but his insurance wouldn’t cover the special machine and with an $80,000 price tag, he couldn’t pay out of pocket. But after a local news on him aired, a stranger stepped in an offered to cover the cost for him.

Now he’s learning to walk again with this high-tech equipment and it’s only possible because of a kind anonymous person. “Walking my daughter down the aisle. I can do that,” Zielenski says. “When you’re told that you’re not going to be able to walk ever again and then being able to just stand up and move those legs again, it’s, I mean, there’s not words. Just no words.”
