GOOD NEWS: At 90 She’s Still Knitting Blankets For Shelter Cats

A woman in Florida is still knitting strong at 90 and her specialty is creating blankets for cats at animal shelters. Marilyn has been making these small afghans for the kitties waiting to be adopted for years and she’s not letting a little thing like age slow her down now.

She knits the felines blankets so the cat cages are more comfy and so the cats have something to comfort them when they get adopted and are getting used to their new surroundings.

"Marilyn says as long as her hands still work & she has her health, she will continue knitting and donating these tiny afghans to our Animal Control kitties,” Polk County Animal Control says in a Facebook post.
