Lady A could win a Tony Award!

Lady Antebellum may be headed to New York next month for the Tony Awards. The band wrote a song for the “Spongebob SquarePants” musical, and it was recognized in the Best Original Score category. 

In addition to Lady A, Yolanda Adams, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Sara Bareilles, The Flaming Lips, Cyndi Lauper and Rob Hyman, John Legend, Panic! at the Disco, Plain White T's, They Might Be Giants, T.I., and more were all recognized with the nomination. 

“Stunned right now! First Tony Awards nomination,” the group tweeted. “Congrats @SpongeBobBway!! So grateful for this opportunity to be a part of such an incredible score.”

The 2018 Tony Awards will air June 10th on CBS.
