Arkansas Professor holds baby while teaching:)

An Arkansas State University physics professor is getting praised for not only allowing a student to bring her baby to class when she couldn’t find a sitter in time, but for holding the infant for her while teaching class.

Kristen Black called her professor Bruce Johnson to tell him she couldn’t come to his study session because she didn’t have child care. He told her not to worry about it and to bring the baby along. “I hope that no parent ever feels like a classroom is an unfriendly place for their kids,” Johnson explains.

A photo of Johnson teaching with the baby in his arms was shared on Facebook by Arkansas State University Chancellor Kelly Damphousse[[DAMF-iss]] . “He cares so much about the success of his students,” he writes. “I am glad that Bruce gave me permission to share this beautiful moment with you."
