GOOD NEWS: Kids are Getting “Ticketed” For Good Behavior

It looks like getting ticketed isn’t always a bad thing, now kids could receive tickets for wearing helmets or recycling their trash. It’s all thanks to 7-Eleven’s “Operation Chill,” a community outreach program allowing police officers to “ticket” kids for good behavior.

Operation Chill was originally launched in 1995, and has since given out 21 million coupons. This year the program gave out 1.4 million coupons with 1,100 participating police agencies. A representative of 7-Eleven explained on Fox News, “we partnered with Philadelphia police department in an effort to try to engage our community in a positive way with our law enforcement community.”
