GOOD NEWS: Boy Scout Missing For Two Days Found

A Utah teen who went missing over the weekend while hiking with his Boy Scout troop in Western Wyoming has been located. Garrett Hunter, 13, was separated for almost two days before searchers found him Monday morning, police report.

Garrett was hiking in a mountainous area on Saturday when he got away from his Boy Scout group, according to police. The teen has Asperger’s syndrome and officials were worried his condition could keep him from approaching anyone for help.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported that Garrett was found in good health Sunday night and stayed with volunteer searchers until Monday morning.
