GOOD NEWS: Restaurant Thanks Hurricane Responders By Feeding 100 For Free

Firefighters, medics, and police officers are always on the front line to help the rest of us when disaster strikes, so one South Carolina restaurant treated a group of them to a free meal to thank them for their service. A Bonefish Grill in North Charleston fed 100 fire officials, EMS and police officers before they headed to help with Hurricane Florence relief.

"We had about 100 first responders come in today. We paid entirely for it all," the restaurant tells CNN. "This is because we appreciate the job they do."

The restaurant tweeted photos of the dinner and the North Charleston Fire Department retweeted the images with a note of thanks: “No #thankyou! We are grateful for your generosity towards our first responders!”
