GOOD NEWS: Good Samaritan Saves Three People From Burning Truck

Police officers in Elk Grove, California say a good samaritan was at home in bed when he heard a crash nearby early Sunday morning. He got up and ran outside to see what happened, jumping the fence behind his house to see if he could help with the wreck on the street behind his home, according to Elk Grove Police Department spokesman Jason Jimenez.

The kind stranger pulled three people from the vehicle that was on fire after it collided with a tree. All the passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment, but without this heroic neighbor there willing to rescue them, their injuries could have been much worse.
