GOOD NEWS: Dad Builds Wheelchair-Accessible Igloo For His Kids

A dad in Cincinnati is making sure his kids don’t miss out on any winter fun just because they’re in a wheelchair. Gregg Eichhorn and his wife Katie have nine adopted kids with medical and special needs and he recently built them a wheelchair-accessible igloo so they can all play in the snow together.

Eichhorn’s 19-year-old daughter, Zahara, rolled right into the family’s supersized snow fort in her wheelchair and she loved it. "Her face lit up – she gets super excited," he says. "I think she felt like a movie star."

This creative dad says all of his kids are loving the igloo that he built with some help from his sister and some of the kids. Not only are the Eichhorns giving their nine medical and special needs children a loving home, they’re giving them a cool snow fort, too.
