Man Takes Trip With Dead Wife In The Passenger Seat- An Eloy, Arizona, police officer got a shock when he pulled an elderly man over this weekend.
When the policeman stopped the car on a highway he noticed a dead woman buckled into the passenger seat. Police say the driver, Rodney Puckett, 70, claimed he and his 74-year-old wife were traveling from Oklahoma, and that she passed away at a hotel in Texas. He said he put his wife's body in the car and proceeded to their destination.
Investigators in Texas are determining if the death was a murder. Puckett was arrested on charges of abandonment and concealment of a body. Which is interesting because it was in the front seat for all to see.
