A couple in Pennsylvania wants to make sure new parents in their area have things they need for their newborns, so they organized a community baby shower.Jonathan and Cindy Strawbridge put together 150 baskets filled with baby essentials, including diapers, formula and clothing, all of which were donated by local businesses and community members.
"We have a village which we are so grateful for," Cindy says. "But what about other people that don't have a village?"
The Strawbridges also included a handwritten note in each basket to tell the new parents that they are loved and so is their child, and that they’re “happy to be part of the village” with them.
