Lee Brice Celebrates First Responders in 'One of Them Girls' Music Video

Lee Brice has returned with a new song and a powerful new music video to go along with it, and it celebrates all of the incredible women and first responders who risk their lives for others.

In the song, Lee sings in the chorus, "You're one of them girls that/ Ain't tryna meet nobody/ You're just here for the party/ If I'm wrong then stop me, yeah/ You're one of them girls that/ Ain't handin' out your number/ You like to make us want you, you like to make us wonder." And he continues in he second verse, "If you're one of them girls/ 'Cause I'm one of them boys/ We'll trade this whole world."

The official "One of Them Girls" music video, directed by Spidey Smith follows a young single mother as she juggles taking care of her young daughter, maintaining a social life (and yes, she runs the pool table), and her job — which is saving people's lives as a firefighter. At the end, she helps save a man who flipped his car upside down, which goes up in flames.

In a statement, Brice said of his new song, "I just love that the title could easily come across with a negative connotation at first. But, it's so very much about that girl that all of us — deep down, at the end of the day, at the end of our lives — really hope to have loving us."

Lee said it best in teasing the song, "Cheers to the women that are full-on HEROES and can run a pool table."

"One of Them Girls" is Lee's first release since his Carly Pearce collaboration "I Hope You're Happy Now" and his 2017 self-titled album. The country star wrote the new song with Ashley Gorley, Dallas Davidson and Ben Johnson after getting the idea for the track on Father's Day. Brice, eager to finish the song, called an "emergency songwriting session" to finish his idea at 2 or 3am the following morning.
