A young cancer patient in St. Louis, Missouri is teaching us a lesson in looking out for others.Grayson Nunleyis only five years old, but he’s already spent nearly 20 days in the hospital battling leukemia and was recently granted a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The little boy could have chosen to take a trip to Disney World or do some other cool adventure, but instead, he’s using it to help other sick kids. Grayson’s wish is to give children in the hospital comfortable bed sheets to help their time in treatment be a little easier.
“He understands the wish could be for him. He knows and understands how important it is to give back,” explains Grayson’s mom,Ann. “We’ve asked him a million times if this is what he wanted to do and that he’s happy and that’s what he wanted to do.”
