Lost dog gets himself a job

A dog named Tilly is now safely back at home after he went missing following a car accident.LindaOswald’sfamily and their two-year-old border collie were driving in Idaho when they collided with another car. The back window of the SUV shattered and Tilly was ejected and ran off.

The Oswalds searched for their pet for hours and posted about him on social media with hopes someone nearby would see him. Their post reached a farm about a mile and a half away from the scene of the accident, where brothersTravisandZane Potternoticed an extra shepherd hard at work. Tilly was on the sheep farm trying to herd sheep!

Oswald says she’s not surprised that’s what her dog was doing. “He’ll herd anything,” she says. “When I go to the dog park, he tries to herd the people into one group.” The family is grateful to have Tilly back, although he gave them the cold shoulder upon arriving at home. “I think he was a little upset, like, ‘Hey, you guys left me out on that prairie for 48 hours.’”
