Shark victim walks away

A San Francisco man came face-to-face with a Great White Shark, but amazingly, he managed to walk away after the attack.Nemanja Spasojevicwas searching for crabs at Gray Whale Cove State Beach in California when he says he felt a sharp pain and then a push. And when he looked down, the shark that had just sunk his teeth into his leg was right in front of him.

“It felt very quick, almost like a mosquito bite,” Nemanja recalls. The 38-year-old limped his way back to the beach and a nearby fisherman came to help him. Luckily, he didn’t suffer any serious injuries and after being treated at the hospital for 10 puncture wounds in his leg, he was able to go home and recover.

Nemanja says he was fortunate that the shark wasn’t aggressive and let go after the bite. “If it was not gentle, I wouldn’t be standing here,” he says. “I’m probably the luckiest guy in the world, to get hit by a Great White and walk out of the hospital the same day.”
