Tulsa PD Adopt Christmas Puppies

A shocking discovery on Christmas Day has a happy ending, thanks to some kind-hearted cops in Oklahoma. Someone abandoned a duffel bag with five puppies zipped up inside at a QuikTrip convenience store, according to authorities. The Tulsa Police Department reports that someone dumped the bag on the store’s counter and took off.

An employee found the bag full of pups and when responding officers arrived on the scene, they couldn’t resist the cuteness. “Overwhelmed with Christmas feelings, four of the officers immediately adopted four of the puppies and the fifth went home with the QuikTrip employee,” the department shares in a Facebook post.

A veterinary partner with the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals checked the puppies out first and estimates they’re about five weeks old. And now the entire litter has loving homes for the holidays.
