John Candy documentary coming

I grew up loving the humor of John Candy. He starred in some of my favorite movies, like Uncle Buck and Home Alone, and was always the lovable goofball. He was one of those people that you thought you knew, even though he was on screen, and not in your living room. When you pictured John Candy in real life, he could've been your neighbor. So, I'm excited and a little afraid to learn about his actual life in an upcoming documentary. His family is on board and giving the film makers their input, so I'm hoping that it's a true look at the man behind his laughter, but, I have to admit, I'm a little nervous that the John Candy that lives in my heart will be harmed a bit by having too much knowledge. Here's to hoping that the John Candy that I love continues to be unscathed. Love you, John Candy. Thank you for the laughs:) ~Karla

Ryan Reynolds And Colin Hanks Are Working On A John Candy Documentary: Late comedian John Candy began trending yesterday on Twitter, so Ryan Reynolds chimed in with a surprise announcement. He tweeted "With John Candy trending, I'll just say I love him. So much so, @maximumeffort is working on a documentary on his life with @colinhanks. Expect tears." Reynolds’ reps confirmed the news and says the Candy family is giving Maximum Effort access to his archive and home video footage. Candy was trending ahead of the 4k release of “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.” The late comedian’s daughter Jennifer Candy tweeted saying "Boom! So looking forward to working on this with them and our family. This project is in great hands.”
