Tulsa is one of the BEST wedding cities

There’s so much more to a wedding than just saying “I do,” and anyone who’s ever planned a wedding knows just how time-consuming, stressful and expensive it can be. Between invitations, flowers, venues and menus, couples shell out an average of $30-thousand on a wedding. Of course, that number can go way up or way down, depending on where they decide to tie the knot.

  • WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best Places to Get Married in the U.S. in 2024.
  • They ranked 182 cities on 26 key indicators of wedding-friendliness, in the categories of costs, facilities & services and activities & attractions.
  • The cities were rated on factors from average wedding cost to the number of wedding chapels and churches, flower shops and DJs to weather.
  • Based on all of that, the best place to get hitched in America is Orlando, Florida.
  • The Sunshine State city is second for facilities & services and sixth for activities & attractions.
  • Shreveport, Louisiana, 14th overall, is number one for costs, while Miami, third overall, is first for facilities and services, and Los Angeles, 53rd overall, is tops for activities & attractions.
  • On the flip side, the worst place to get married is Pearl City, Hawaii, which is dead last for cost and in the bottom five for the other categories.
