How terrifying! An OHP trooper collided with a vulture on Friday and the aftermath is quite the site.
"Yikes! This cracked windshield on Trooper Tony Harper #239's vehicle happened last Friday on SH 33 west of Cushing when a VULTURE smashed into his vehicle.
He said it sounded like a gunshot going off inside his unit as glass and feathers went everywhere. He focused on getting his unit shut down and safely to the shoulder.
He was responding to a crash and he says the tow truck driver came back to check on him as well as other passing motorists."
