Minnie Mouse Finally Gets Her Hollywood Star - A female Hollywood icon will get a star on the Walk of Fame.
40 years after her boyfriend got one, Minnie Mouse will finally get her place on the sidewalk on January 22nd, right in front of the El Capitan Theatre.
Producer Ana Martinez called the Disney creation a "woman of the ages" and a great addition to the Walk of Fame. A star for Mickey Mouse was installed in 1978. She also joins other beloved Disney icons like Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Kermit the Frog.Source: Entertainment Weekly
