TRUCKER SHARES FOOD WITH FELLOW DRIVERS

A long-haul trucker with some extra food shares a meal with other drivers also stranded in the massive I-95 traffic jam. After being stuck on the interstate in Virginia for more than seven hours, a trucker with a two-day supply of food got out of his truck and shared a hot meal with the car next to him.

TruckerJean-Carclo Gachetwas hauling a load from Richmond to Georgia and had an extra couple of meals, so he heated up a Jimmy Dean bacon, egg and cheese breakfast bowl in the microwave in his cab and offered it to the family that was in the car beside him.

"He was shocked he opened the door at first, and you know, I was saying, 'hey, I just made you a hot breakfast and a cup of fruit punch,'" Gachet says. "It was him and his mother, and both of them were really appreciative. It was a really nice moment."
