Kate Middleton has turned 40! The Duchess of Cambridge got lots of love on social media to help her ring in the new decade. The official account for the Royal Family posted pics on Instagram of Kate withQueen Elizabeth, a throwback pic of her with her young kinds, and many more. They wrote, "Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very happy 40th birthday today!"
Clarence House, the official Instagram of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, shared a slideshow of pics of Kate and wrote, "Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very happy 40th birthday today!"
Kate rang in 39 with a tea party at her country home hosted by Prince William. This year due to the surge in COVID-19, she is spending it privately with her family. But, three new portraits of Kate have been released on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Instagram page in celebration of her birthday. The portraits will enter permanent collection in the National Portrait Gallery.
