TODAY IS OPPOSITE DAY!

January 25this Opposite Day! If we today stinks – you should know that what wereallymean is that it’s super fun. Why? Because this the topsy, turvy day when everything you say, do, see, and hear should be the opposite. If you say go left, you mean go right. If you say look up, it means look down. If you see your left foot...is it really your right?

Yesiree, Bob. Opposite Day can be a whole lot of fun. It can also be very, very confusing. This special day is celebrated primarily among school children. Sponge Bob Square Pants even got into the act, with an episode containing the whimsical nature of this day. Need some ideas for “opposite” things to do?

  • Call in Sick For Work, Then Show Up Anyway- Your boss will be confused for a minute, then it will dawn on them. Plus you shouldn't lose your job for this one, nor should you lose one of your sick days.
  • Say Goodbye When Greeting People- The confusion on their faces will be worth it. If you pair this with the number one on our list, it will only get better.
  • Don't Do Anything for Opposite Day- Saying it's Opposite Day negates that it is opposite day. So don't do anything for opposite, but know in your heart that it really is National Opposite Day.
