Most dogs love to spend time outdoors, which is why they look forward to going on walks with their owners. But not every city is the best for those long walks, and now a new report reveals the areas that are the worst.

- It’s based on a LawnStarter report that looked at 174 of America’s largest cities, judging them on their walkability, dog-friendly environment, safety and services related to dog walking.
- With that in mind, the worst city for walking a dog is Jackson, Mississippi, which scored a 25.38 out of 100.
- It earns low marks for walkability, environment, and safety.
