Is a woman more likely to be faithful if she has a certain type of pet . . . like a dog? Maybe, if you believe data from a married dating website called Illicit Encounters.
They say 22% of unfaithful women own a cat. Tropical fish are the second most common pet of cheating women at 19% . . . followed by hamsters (17%), guinea pigs (16%), lizards (15%), tortoises (14%), birds (13%), and then dogs at 12%.
Only 2% of unfaithful women have a rabbit, and 5% have a snake. (Yes, less people have rabbits and snakes in general . . . but then again, more people probably have dogs than hamsters, tortoises, and birds.)
